After a week-long vacation within this marvelous city, I have to confess it’s easy to fall in love with Bangkok. I’d heard a lot about the fascinating cultures, hi-tech way of life, awe-inspiring Buddhist temples, eye catching flea markets and insane nightlife in Bangkok, and has been extreme inquisitive to explore the”City of Angles”. These over-load imaginations were ringing around mewhen I was in air craft.
I landed at the Savarnbhumi ราชภัฏสวนสุนันทา , also as soon as I got off the aircraft, the city started to lure me. The newly designed Bangkok Airport features alot to share with about: out of awesome modern centers to incredible use of advanced technologies. But what astounded me was that the design where an estimable effort was made to incorporate Thai art in to contemporary styles of building. Terrific Thai paintings on the walls look simply wonderful.
I hired an air con cab, possibly the very comfy and easiest means to get around from the town, to reach my own hotel. Although I already had an idea about the way welcoming & warm Thai people are, this time that I experienced it myself. The way hotel staff treated me on arrival was praisable. It turned out to be a simple 4 star hotel of the city, but quite notable in terms of architecture, hospitality in addition to modern comforts. Spacious rooms were designed with various modern conveniences like wi-fi internet, a half-wall TV screen, Remotecontrolled lighting and a large bath.
Since it had been pre-planned, ” I stopped day one exploring glittering Bangkok, by that I believe that the shining temples, palaces and historical ruins showcasing city’s wealthy past and cultures. To start with, I have enticed by the Wat Arun, an ageold temple on west shore of Chao Phraya River. Amazing architectural beauty coupled with finest of craftsmanship, that this temple is one of the most spectacular temples in Thailand. It houses an imposing steeple of elevation over 70 meters, that can be brightly decorated with little pieces of colored glasses. Wat Mahathat is another fine illustration of Buddhism and expansive structure. That certainly one of the earliest temples in Thailand can be a significant centre for the analysis of Buddhism and meditation. Various other structures of expansive spiritual significance here comprise Wat Phra Khae, Wat Traimit and Wat Saket. When you’re in Bangkok, it’s almost impossible not to be impressed the scale and ambition of structure of the famed Good Palace. Unarguably, the city’s most dazzling and stunning historic landmark, the Grand Palace has been the trademark of Bangkok just like Eiffel Tower in Peris and Statue of Liberty in New York.
You can not afford to overlook out shopping & nightlife, when you are at Bangkok. Fabled for its energetic shopping malls, amazing flea markets and local streetside shopping, the city gives you endless chance to get your bags full. Obtaining a tour Khao San Road provides you a nightlife experience you haven’t ever gone through.
For anyone inclined in history & cultures, this city includes a lengthy list of places to go to on. I visited to the Bangkok National Museums and also Bank of Thailand Museum, equally are gracious. I spent three days in Bangkok, then headed to Pattaya. I enjoyed there a full day on its own lovely beaches and an over night stay.
